Tri-band WDM devices are based on epoxy-free optical path Thin Film Filter (TFF) technology and used in EDFA, Raman amplifiers, WDM networks, and fiber optics instrumentation. The device combines light at different wavelengths in a wide wavelength range. Tri-band WDMs expand the capacity of a single fiber to accommodate bidirectional communication, and are widely used for optical network upgrade and expansion.

Crowntech Photonics offers a variety of WDM devices customized to particular wavelengths for specified applications. For example, GE-PONs operate on the 1310/1490 wavelength, CATV signals are delivered over the same fiber at 1550nm wavelength. A Tri-band WDM allows all these wavelengths to be combined.

Crowntech Photonics’ Tri-band WDMs cover wide operating wavelength ranges with high channel isolation and excellent environmental stability. Crowntech’s state-of-the art manufacturing fully complies to ISO, RoHS, and GR standards.
