Fused
WDM

Fused WDM is an optical power management device that is fabricated using Fused Biconic Taper (FBT) technology to distribute or combine different wavelength signals from different fibers. Fused WDMs are commonly deployed in wideband optical signal management system in PON (Passive Optical Networks), Datacom, LAN (Local Area Networks), CATV (Cable TV), LCP (Local Convergence Points), and FTTx applications.

Crowntech offers Fused WDMs with different wavelength combinations such as 1310nm, 1550nm, and 1585nm. Customized wavelengths are available upon request.

With Crowntech’ state of the art real-time production process monitoring capability, the optical performance of the Fused WDM is optimized with lower insertion loss and higher operating power coupled with excellent environment reliabilities.
